Khalistan supporters denied entry to an Indian diplomat, and the UK raised the issue with them

New Delhi: According to official sources, India has brought up the incident in which its High Commissioner Vikram Doraiswami was refused entry to a gurdwara in Scotland with the British foreign office and police. "On Friday, a few extremists prevented Doraiswami from entering a gurdwara in Glasgow. In order to avoid a confrontation, the Indian High Commissioner chose to leave, according to the sources.

An individual who was allegedly a pro-Khalistani protester was seen barring Doraiswami from entering the Glasgow gurdwara on Albert Drive, according to a fictitious video released on the Instagram account of "Sikh Youth UK." This occurs in the midst of a diplomatic dispute between India and Canada following the murder of terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a Khalistani.

On Saturday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) denounced the act. "I vehemently denounce this (the claim that Vikram Doraiswami was barred from visiting a Scottish gurdwara). Anyone from any faith or group is welcome to visit this gurdwara. Instead of being a violent religion, ours is one that sees itself as the saviour of mankind. The Sikhs are the rescuers. PM Modi commended the efforts of our neighbourhood. There are Sikhs living all over the world. India is the country where Sikhs are the safest worldwide.

Manjinder Singh Sirsa, a BJP politician, remarked. It has also been denounced by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC). According to SGPC General Secretary Grewal, gurdwaras are for people of all religions and the UK Envoy shouldn't have been prevented from entering. Meanwhile, a protester is heard saying, "They are hurting Sikhs in Canada and other places. Every Sikh should protest against any Indian Ambassador like we did here in Glasgow," in the fictitious video that the "Sikh Youth UK" uploaded on social media.

According to the "Sikh Youth UK," accessing the gurdwara in official capacity by Indian officials is still prohibited. Two males can be seen in the footage standing by the High Commissioner's car in the parking space. The automobile door, which has been locked from the inside, is shown being attempted to be opened by one of them. The high commissioner's automobile is subsequently seen departing the gurdwara grounds in the allegedly recorded footage. The next scene in the film shows another man telling the camera that this is how any Indian ambassador or Indian government figure will be treated if they visit the Gurdwara.

"We are aware of the games they are playing and the current events in Canada. "The Indian ambassadors were removed by the Canadian PM, who openly decried India.

A formal response to the incident is awaited from the Indian High Commission in London and the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). The event in the UK occurs when tensions between India and Canada are escalating as a result of allegations made by Justin Trudeau, the prime minister of Canada, that the Indian government was complicit in the murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

India categorically denies the allegations, labelling them as "absurd" and "motivated." Notably, Canada has not yet made any public proof of the alleged murder of Nijjar available.
