PM Modi Performs Puja in Uttarakhand Among Snow-Capped Mountains

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who came in Uttarakhand on Thursday, conducted puja in Pithoragarh's Parvati Kund. PM Modi is on a day-long visit to the Kumaon region, where he will lay the groundwork for many development projects. During the excursion, the Prime Minister will also address a public meeting and visit Gunji village.

Modi wrote on X, "Our government is committed to the welfare of each and every individual in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand, as well as the rapid development of the state." To expedite things, I will inaugurate and lay the groundwork for various projects in Pithoragarh."

Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate, dedicate to the nation, and lay the foundation stone for several development projects totaling approximately 4200 crore in Uttarakhand.

PTI said that cultural troupes from Uttarakhand's Kumaon area will greet Modi at several spots along a refurbished 6-kilometer route decked with murals and paintings as he travels from the Naini Saini airport to a public gathering location.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Uttarakhand Schedule

Prime Minister Modi arrived in Jollingkong, Pithoragarh District, around 8:30 a.m., and performed pooja and darshan at Parvati Kund.

Prime Minister Modi will arrive in Gunji village, Pithoragarh district, about 9:30 a.m., where he will meet with locals and see an exhibition highlighting local art and goods.

He will also meet with Army, Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and Border Roads Organisation (BRO) troops.

The Prime Minister will arrive in Jageshwar, Almora district, about 12 p.m., to do pooja and darshan at Jageshwar Dham.

PM Modi will arrive in Pithoragarh around 2:30 PM, where he will inaugurate, dedicate to the nation, and lay the groundwork for a number of development projects worth approximately Rs 4200 crore in sectors such as rural development, road, power, irrigation, drinking water, horticulture, education, health, and disaster management, among others.
