In connection with the Naxal case, 60 locations in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana were raided

In connection with the Left Wing Extremism (LWE) case, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted searches at least 60 places on Monday in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

While a different NIA team is conducting searches in Hyderabad, the raids are still taking place in the Andhra Pradesh districts of Prakasam, Rajahmundry, and Srikakulam.

These raids come a few weeks after the NIA carried out several in Telangana and Chhattisgarh as part of an investigation into the confiscation of explosives and drones from the outlawed Communist Party of India (Maoist).

Authorities are searching the homes of civil rights leaders who have connections to Maoists. The raids are conducted at the homes of various influential people, including Nassar, a human rights activist, Oru Srinivasa Rao, and Duddu Venkatarao, a leader in the fight to eradicate caste.

Additionally, the NIA agents also examined Konala Lazar's home, who works at the Horlicks factory.
