'BJP Lost In Karnataka Because Bhupesh Baghel...': Tejasvi Surya's Big Claim On Chhattisgarh CM

Tejasvi Surya, National President of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) and Member of Parliament, stated that Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel moved cash to Karnataka, resulting in the state's electoral defeat in the southern state. He promised that the young of Chhattisgarh would rise up against corruption, dynastic politics, and appeasement policies, ensuring the BJP's presence in the state. He made the remarks during a visit to Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, on Wednesday.

In the Congress Working Committee (CWC) resolution, Surya also lambasted Congress for its handling of the recent terror assault on Israel. The lack of Congress to sufficiently denounce the attack, according to Surya, was due to vote bank politics.

Surya, speaking to media at the Swami Vivekananda Airport, accused not only the Congress but also the state's ruling Congress government of widespread corruption in the state Public Service Commission (PSC) recruiting process. According to news agency PTI, Surya was in Raipur to speak at a BJYM state unit workshop.

Chhattisgarh is preparing for state assembly elections on November 7 and 17, with results due on December 3.

Tejasvi Surya's critique of the Congress was set against the backdrop of the ongoing Israel-Hamas war. The CWC reaffirmed its support for Palestinian rights on Monday, calling for an immediate ceasefire and discussions to resolve unresolved issues. The Congress stated that there were no internal party divisions regarding the CWC resolution on Hamas, citing former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's support for the Palestinian people.

Surya's reaction to Israel's bombing was to emphasize the significance of discriminating between Hamas and Palestine. He called Hamas a terrorist organization, equating it to organisations like Lashkar-e-Taiba and ISIS. He emphasized the importance of the international community uniting in denouncing such terrorist crimes, and he voiced unhappiness with the Congress' response.

Tejasvi Surya has committed to battle for justice on behalf of the state's youth, whom he alleges have been harmed by the policies of the Congress government. He assured voters that the BJP would win the upcoming assembly elections.

"I am extremely happy and proud that the Yuva Morcha's concern about the alleged PSC scam has resulted in a stay order from the court (Chhattisgarh High Court)." "I believe that in the future, every state government in the country, including Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, and Karnataka (all of which are controlled by the Congress), will have the opportunity to reform their PSC system," he was quoted as saying by PTI.
