PM Modi's powerful government will safely return every Indian from Israel: BJP

The ruling BJP claimed on Friday that India will safeguard the safety and return of every Indian detained in Israel because it has a "strong and sensitive" government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

At a news conference at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi, party national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia praised the government for safely returning the first batch of more than 200 Indians from Israel, calling it a "unprecedented rescue mission."

"A sensitive and strong government is taking strong steps when such a horrifying scene is unfolding there." As many as 212 Indians have been safely returned home as part of Operation Ajay. "It was a proud moment for the entire country," he remarked.

In the early hours of Friday, the first batch of Indians, including students, returned to the country on a chartered airplane from Israel.

As a result of a series of attacks on Israeli towns by Hamas militants over the weekend, India has started Operation Ajay to aid the repatriation of individuals who choose to return home.

Bhatia claimed that the successful operation "shows how even in times of difficulties, if any government has the capacity and patience to work for the people 24x7 it is the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government."

"There is a strong government at the Centre to which public interest is paramount, and behind it is the strength of 140 core Indian brothers and sisters," the BJP spokesperson said.

"Every citizen should be confident that the government is carrying out its responsibility to safely return Indians who have become stranded in Israel." "There are plenty of resources," Bhatia remarked.

"I urge the Indians to remain calm and safe." And we will make certain that each of you returns to Bharat safely. This is our promise to you. "When times are tough, we will send a strong message that times are tough, but Bharat-India is tougher," he remarked.

"We will ensure safety of every citizen who is stuck in the war-torn region," he went on to say.
