Afghanistan cricket team coach Ajay Jadeja described star spinner Rashid Khan as a "leader" and a guy who can succeed regardless of where he plays. Rashid Kan's superb spin bowling has cemented his dominance in the world of cricket. His hard work has propelled him to the top of the T20I bowling rankings.
"It's easy to see why he's a global leader. He performs every day, whether he is in India, Australia, or elsewhere. There is no doubt that he is a leader," Jadeja, a former India cricketer, told ANI news agency.
The players, according to Jadeja, believe in themselves and are capable of bouncing back. "I don't think it's tough for me or that I have to persuade people. I believe they believe in themselves, and Indian Cricket Auction tells them how good they are more than I do. "I don't have to tell them," he explained.
The Afghanistan team's fearless attitude to the game, according to Jadeja, stands out. "The first thing that stands out to me is their approach to the game. Their bravery stands out. The entire world is aware of their spin bowling (composed of Rashid Khan, Noor Ahmed, and Mujeeb ur Rahman). Even our two seamers (Fazalhaq Farooqi included) are superb. They are all in high demand in various leagues across the world. "The experience required to bat longer, whether in Tests or 50-over format, is still something that needs to be worked on because they don't get the opportunity to do it very often," remarked the former Indian star.

Meanwhile, Afghanistan captain Hashmatullah Shahidi said it was a pleasure to work with former India captain Ajay Jadeja as the team's World Cup trainer. "It's good because he has a lot of international cricket experience and experience in the same conditions, including Indian conditions." As a result, as a tutor, he always discusses how to deal with pressure and how to play against these teams. It's not about technique because he recently joined the squad and can't work with batting and bowling techniques. He simply attempts to educate us on mental health and how to deal with this type of team. Yes, so it's working," Shahidi remarked during the pre-match press conference.
Afghanistan will meet India at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Wednesday, hoping for their first World Cup victory.
